Brechfa Church

Received the following communication from Hywel Griffiths:-

"If the villagers have been wondering who has been hacking down Holly bushes in the church yard its been descendants of Richard and Maria Morris and family, owners of the Forest Arms and farm from around 1840 to 1895.

The Morris family plot was over run with a tree and Holly Bushes. Family members who visited Brechfa couldn't find the graves.

But on a flying visit one cold wet morning in March this year I found them and am know sending the Morris line descendants on a Pilgrimage to Brechfa to visit and clean up the plot".
